Bernard Lienard

Post by tntuba »

Does anybody know where to find Bernard Lienard's CD called "Un souffle de Lumiere?" (A Breath of Light) It's the only professional recording that I can find of a tubist playing Casterede's "Fantaise Concertante." I know Steven Mead did it on "World of Euphonium," but I really wanted to find a tubist playing it. However, if anybody happens to know of another tubist who has recorded it since the publication of the last Tuba Source Book, please let me know. (I ask this because as of the submission deadline for the TSB, Lienard is the only one listed who has recorded this work.)

Thanks,

Have you tried interlibrary loans? Check out world cat, rilm abstracts, etc....Ask your librarian. I'm sure you'll be able to get it eventually if a library in the world has it. Have you taken music bibliography yet? :D
