As soon as the price dropped to $99 my wife bought me a GameCube. Probably because she was concerned about the time I spent on the Internet after she went to bed early; she didn't understand that horn dorn really meant horn dorn 
Never used it too much, except for a brief fling with the Simpsons Hit & Run and later with Resident Evil 4. My son pretty much took it over once he was old enough to start playing games (and RE4 was sold.)
When the Xbox 360 Elite came out earlier this year, I immediately bought one (on credit) because it was everything the original 360 should have been. My plan was to play it at night when I was up with my newborn. I play old-school arcade games on it once in a rare while; my son has pretty much taken it over and plays all the free download demos. And I have yet to pay for it.
Starting to see a pattern here...
