1291 Bb low range fingerings

One method - which I use on my 186-4U and formerly on my Yamaha 381 Eb - is to pull the 4th slide waay out and 3 out far enough so that 1+3 notes are almost in tune. Use 4 only for the low stuff - 1+4 Eb ... 1+2+3+4 for low C ... which will be very close with 4 all the way out. This works pretty well unless you are in an orchestral situation - but it's close enough for jazz and community band .
