"Sonatina" is a small sonata, and as such, a generic TYPE of music. Many people have written pieces called Sonatina. It's like asking, "Who wrote Symphony No. 2"? You need to qualify it with the composer who wrote it.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I played it as an undergrad and found it to be a fun litle piece. Not too hard, but not too easy either. Still pull it out once in a while to read for fun or to demonstrate the tuba to my elementary classes.
