I was actually wonderin myself if this is a nice horn. I've heard some things but can't remember..... (some good, some bad)

However, I would say that a small 4 valved horn like this may not be your first choice for a college horn. I would play a horn like this in a quintet or small ensemble but would not find it too useful for band or orchestra.

Just my $.02 worth

Kalison DS CC

I still could shoot myself for letting mine go. I succumbed to the siren song of an Alexander.

The Kalison DS CC is a very lyrical ax, with decent poop. I higly recommend trying one out!

I've never played a Kalison Symphonic tuba. I do however own a Kalison Daryl Smith CC. I've heard some bad things about them to. But, the only thing that i agree on is mouthpiece pickyness. I like it alot more than the Mirafone 186 i used to have.
