One of the best things my former teacher made us all do was to work out of several trumpet and horn etude books with a steady diet of Blazevich, Grigoriev and Rochut. Yes, this requires playing in treble clef, but with a little time and patience, you'll be just fine. The best part is that you can then transfer the same etudes to different keyed instruments and get an equal workout.
I'd highly recommend working through the Verne Reynolds 48 Etudes for Horn or the Vizzuti Technical Etudes.....I have all of the Vizzuti books and LOVE them! I have a transcribed version of the Verne Reynolds for F tuba, but I think I like it better in the original. Must be from all that brass banding that just makes me love treble clef!
Happy Practicing!

Last night I began working on Phil Snedecor's "Low Etudes for Tuba." It's 35 pages and just about right for me.

Where the treble clef studies mentioned are concerned, the Clarke and Schlossberg trumpet studies are very good, as well as the Pottag progressive & melodious etudes for horn books I & II. Also Concone and Charlier for trumpet.
It would be great if someone were to arrange all of these for tuba one day. I think there are tuba versions of Concone and Clarke available.
