Camphor??

Post by Albertibass »

So being brass players, a lot of us are usually using some sort of lip balm to keep our lips from drying out and such. A few months ago, i heard something about how dangerous Carmex, Blistex and other Camphor-containing substances are. I was wondering what anyone here has heard about it. And if anyone who posts here uses any Camphor-containing products.

I liked your research about how much Carmex you would have to consume to kill you! I will email that one in to those guys at the "Jackass" website. Maybe Carmex eating will end up as some sort of skit in the next movie! (kidding)

Mmm. Tasty, mentholated Carmex. Mmm.
Sounds like "camphort food" to me!
