Cyndi, you must host the pictures on the internet somewhere, like a web page or online photo gallery. Then, include a link to your pictures within {img} {/img} tags (but use square brackets instead of curly braces).
You can also just use a link, which you can copy directly into your post, and let people go to where the pictures are if they choose to.

Here are two popular media hosting sites:
Photobucket is a really popular one if you plan on continuing to have a need to upload pictures and videos. I say that because you have to register for it (Free, it is) and that wouldn't be too efficient for just one use.
ImageShack is a good place to upload media without registering. Make sure you chose not to resize it and you chose to remove the size/resolution bar. After that, click "Host it". To post it on this forum, you can use either of the first two links as they already have the IMG tags.
