I'm having a little bit of trouble trying to find out a lot of info on this solo. I know that it was done by Roger Bobo on his record Prunes, but does anyone know if there is any "generally accepted" tuba version?
Is the version he recorded the same as the version sold at Hickeys, http://www.hickeys.com/cgi/display.cgi? ... usopo6.htm?
Any info or experiences having played it in concert, recital, or practice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

steve sykes has arranged it for tuba (http://www.perfectpitch.org.uk), it is in the high register and at a quiet dynamic.
Schuberts music looks deceptively simple, but is not at all easy to play. it requires great breath control, emotional sympathy and a great piano player for the other part

Thanks for the info. After hearing Bobo's recording I realized that it might be a little challenging,
but , as always, he makes it sound incredibly beautiful. Hopefully I can one day give it as much justice as he did. Well, better start practicing...
Does anyone know the (if any) differences (key, range, etc...) between the Hickeys version and the Skyes version?
