Actress Yareli Arizmendi added to program!

Post by Aubrey Foard »

I'm very excited to announce that actress Yareli Arizmendi will be reading the poetry of Carlos Pellicer for the Colburn Contemporary Artists' concert this Friday. Pellicer's "Hora de Junio" is the poetry on which Revueltas based his "Tres Sonetos," which will be performed on Friday's program.

Yareli Arizmendi has had starring roles in "Like Water for Chocolate," "Fast Food Nation," and "A Day Without a Mexican" and has been a guest star in television shows such as "24," "Six Feet Under," "Seventh Heaven," and "House." More about Yareli can be read at: http://www.yareli.com" target="_blank
