If you like the Ewazen, I'd suggest that you take a look at the Woodward concerto. Its tonal palette is similar to that of the Ewazen concerto, and I think it's at a comparable level. A grad student here at Western played it on his recital this past semester.

Six Pack by James Meador is a really fun and challenging piece if that is what you are looking for. I would suggest looking it up on Youtube if you haven't already, because Tim Buzbee has an awesome video of it.
Stuff by James Grant is also a very cool piece. It has some very fun jazz licks in it.
