I was searching around the website and internet to find out some specifics about the differences between the two horns. The Meinl website just lists "improved 2165 design - better centered sound, perfect response, improved intonation".
What specifically was changed between the two models that constitutes a whole new line of production?

I recall that It has a smaller bell and smaller leadpipe. I have read that the smaller bell is the same as the bell on the Fafner BBb but I don't know that for a fact. Didn't Matt Good have something to do with the development of the 2265?
For mere mortals, it's much easier to play than the 2165.
