Latest Marzan 'Find'

Post by Dan Schultz »

Here's the lastest Marzan tuba/euphonium to surface.....

This beautiful Marzan (Willson) euphonium is owned by Mauro Cadei in Italy. The restoration work, silver plating, and trigger on the main slide was done by G & P

Mauro is the maintainer of http://www.TubaForum.it (the Italian web site for tuba and euphonium players).

(I don't think the horn is copper but the color is a product of the lighting. Maybe Mauro will chime in here.)

The tuning slide trigger is an aftermarket addition, right?

Wow!
That sure puts my "new" Marzan euphonium to shame.

If I could every say a horn was sexy, this would be it. Yummy.
