That is the Clear Brook HS Wind Symphony, under the direction of Stan Mauldin, who is no longer a director there. Clear Brook HS is in the Clear Creek I.S.D.

Why did this get moved to "clip art"?

Rick "yes, it is a video clip, and it is art, but still..." Denney

I don't know for sure, but I'm going to guess that it's because of the way the original post was presented. However, this one stayed where it was. Maybe someone complained?

If James had started by talking about what a great player Mr. Kirk is, and how he had a piece written for him and recently recorded with the Clear Brook HS Wind Symphony, and also included a link to the youtube video of it, then it probably would have stayed in the "TubeNet" forum. Here is an example of one like that which managed to "hang on" in the TubeNet forum.

I'm unclear about why it really makes a difference, although some on here contend that things on the TubeNet forum get more hits than those on the Clipart forum...I check all the new posts when I come on the site.

Either way, it's a nice work and wonderful playing...thanks for the link, James!
