What tuba is this?

I'm having trouble figuring out what kind of tuba this is. Based on the size of the person playing it, it looks like a large one, but it doesn't line up with anything I'm familiar with.

Looks like it could be a Mira. 191...But I dunno...

I don't think it's a 191. That one is a diet BAT!

I don't think this is it, but it looks somewhat like a Yamaha YCB-861. The leadpipe and 5th valve tubing is different, but that 4th valve tubing looks Yamaha.

Part of the wrap reminds me of the small 3/4 F by miraphone....but I'm not really positive since it's so big......but she could be small!

Look at the 5th valve slide and wrap...it goes up kinda high...reminds me of my cerveny.

Is the 5th valve rotor paddle behind that tubing??? That might be a clue too.

Based on the position of the hands, I'd guess that the 5th valve is a right hand thumb-operated, and then it has to be behind the tubing.

Kind of spooky when somebody posts a photo of herself and asks what kind of tuba she plays, when she often referred to that instrument by its model #.

heh. borrowed that specifically for this pic....it is a kiddie chair

and BTW that is a euph mpc, 6 1/2 AL IIRC. Couldn't find a way to make the paddles look smaller though.

I figure a pic of me with a 6/4 BBb and Bob1062 with a 3/4 Eb ought to be the epitome of a Mutt and Jeff scenario. Most people would accuse a "straight" pic of being photoshopped, for that combo, especially if we could do it with tubas of very simlar wrap.

For a guy born in 1062 he looks pretty young and stoned. Only musicians would know that the stoned part comes from reading music placed uncomfortably for the eyes.

This seems to be a picture of a 2165 next to a 182. Some of the routing seems different on the 182, so this may have been a prototype.

The bell on that one seems to flare out more quickly (i.e., less of a "stovepipe" look) and so I wonder.
