I'm looking at buying and preparing the Roland Szentpali Tuba Concerto for next Fall semester, to enter my school's concerto competition. Does anyone out there have any prior experience playing this piece? I remember hearing Mr. Szentpali himself play the work at ITEC, and I liked it then. Any advice or other comments about this concerto would be appreciated!
