I have been fortunate enough to sell a tuba on TubeNet and this last weekend purchased a great gig bag for my euphonium. In both cases having the location was a big help.
Tubas are very personal items that you want to see, touch, and play before commiting a pile of money.
I find it amazing the number of folks selling items that do not list their location, or list their location as some sort of clever secret. What are people hiding? I am proud to live in NC.
I wonder if TubeNet could supply sample ads to help people provide all of the information including location that is needed for a good ad?
Thanks,
DustyTuba, located in Matthews, NC

I also partially agree with this. It is very convenient to locate items that you're interested in purchasing if people show their location. However, I know that some wish not to tell the whole world the city they live in. What I rrecommend to these people is that they at least provide a state or country up front. You'll probably get more buyers this way, and quicker.
