One-handed saxophone

Now that I can finally have my story corroborated --

While I was at Kearney, our woodwind professor, Dr. Nabb, suffered his stroke, and was out of commission in terms of playing anything. He really wasn't his usual self for quite a while afterwards, as anyone can imagine.

I had been told about Dr. Nabb getting together with Jeff Stelling, my repair guy while I was there. Jeff had said that he started working on a one-handed sax the day he found out about the stroke. The two of them worked on the project, getting help from Dr. Nabb's teacher, Eugene Rosseau, who also helped Jeff become associated with Yamaha. I understand that Jeff is the guy who Yamaha goes to when they have an order for custom-built one-handed saxes.

Anyway, good stuff, and although it's not really tuba-related, it's musical. Feel free to move this to Off-Topic if preferred.
