Need Broughton Piano Part

Hi, I'm a Junior at Peabody Conservatory, and I have my Junior jury coming up. I ordered the piano part for the Broughton last month, but it still has not arrived. I need to start rehearsing with my pianist as soon as possible, and thus I need the part as soon as possible. My teacher, David Fedderly, recommended that I come to TubeNet and ask the kind folks here if it would be possible for someone to scan or fax me a copy of the piano part. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Order it from another company instead of asking someone to illegally copy it and send it to you or illegally scan and email it to you.

It is READILY available from most music stores! Try Hickeys, Robert King, SheetMusicPlus, etc. Heck, I think I have five copies available from my store....

You can get a part in about 24-48 hours. You just have to pay a bunch for shipping. I had to do this with the Hindemith. It cost me a boat load to ship, but was in may hands the next day.

Cancel the other order and call:

I am sure they have a copy in stock and they ship via UPS which would in your same of close to your zone. Basically it would arrive in a day or two. I understand your plight, but the simple an legal solution is right in front of you.

We're talking about a few pieces of paper. Don't any of the large music houses offer USPS Priority Mail (at worst 3 days, usually 1 or 2) for around $5?

Yes. Several have been mentioned in the thread. No clue why the mentioning of a bunch of shipping. $5.00 on my site, $3-6.99 on Hickeys, $6.99 on Pepper, etc.

I would have thought if the OP was so desperate to receive the music, an order would have been placed at some point yesterday with a store that has it in stock instead of posting several times here over 16 hour period. The issue was solved with the second post in this thread and if one of the companies were called the music would be in the OP's hands today or tomorrow. Maybe they did order, but did not post this info in the thread.

I hate to be rude and blunt, but I give up. I have posted several sites where you might find it including my own and the publisher's site. If you have called all and no one has it then you are out of luck. If you have not tried ALL of them and more, shame on you for not taking the advice from the very forum where you asked for it.

If you had ordered it yesterday, it would have arrived today or tomorrow for $5.00 shipping. I 100% agree $20.00 shipping absurd unless you need it overnighted.
