Radio appearance

Post by sc_curtis »

I am in the middle of a run of a musical production of Thoroughly Modern Millie with the Texas Repertory Theatre. We did a recording session of a few of the songs today at a local radio station here in Houston (KUHF 88.7), and will be featured in a section of the program called Front Row tomorrow, Thursday, July 23, 2009, between noon and 1pm. If you get a chance, have a listen! http://www.kuhf.org And come here the show if you're in the area!

Pit:
Luke Kirkwood, piano and conductor
Ray Gonzales, winds
Edgar Jaime, trumpet
Brian Logan, trombone
Steve Curtis, tuba
Kristin Logan, cello
Adam Wolfe, percussion

I missed it, Steve, and 200 miles is long way to go to see it, but I wish I could.

I didn't get to hear our radio broadcast live, either... But! You can still check it out, here: http://app1.kuhf.org/houston_public_rad ... 1248382173
Just find the paragraph where it talks about the group and show, and there is a listen link and a download link at the end of the paragraph.
There are 4 musical clips, and I play on the first and fourth.

I listened to the clip on the link you gave. Sounded good. I'll bet you've had a good time.
