Sorry to hear about this, Wade. I know how much you enjoyed teaching in Starkville.

Good luck in your future endeavors!

A friend of mine had been wrestling with issues at his job for a year. His boss was asking him to do stuff that was quite frankly borderline illegal. He and his wife agonized over him resigning in this economy and finally decided that they couldn't look the other way any more. He went into work a couple of months ago with his resignation in his pocket only to find a not to see the boss. He got laid off on the spot. I asked him if he showed the guy the resignation just for ego sake. He said "hell no, I put it in my pocket, cleaned out my desk and drove directly to the employment office." He is starting a new job the first of the month. Not as much money but something he has wanted in a new field for a long time. He'll be happier and so will his family. Something will turn up so that it won't cost you to work.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
