My daughter chose not to be a musician, but writes well. She attended the TubaChristmas last month in Brattleboro, Vermont. According to the web it was conducted by Steve Damon. I would like him to have a copy of her piece, but he does not seem to have an email address. Here is what she wrote:

If you take the role as parent/editor, you might ask her to look up the definition of "Penultimate," which might lead some slight revisions of the penultimate paragraph, but on the whole it is very well written!
