Ophicleide, Antique Horns and other Instrument Collection

I did not want to reply to the other post for the Ophicleide as this may be a type of post that is not considered proper, as the person that has this web site is selling the instruments and is not a sponsor of TubeNet. If it is not allowed please remove it. I do not want to make waves but this was posted on Chicago Craigslist on 01-21-2010 http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/msg/1562243955.html" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank and the site is http://www.allmusicalinstruments.net/catalog.html" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank. I spent over an hour looking at the old horns, several over the shoulder horns (several in nickel), the Serpents and the Ophicleide. The site is not set up well with indexes so the best way is to just look through the 33 pages of instruments. They are not in any real order the brass instruments are all over the place in between the woodwind and string instruments. He does not have prices on all of the instruments yet but the site is truly a wealth of information on older instruments so I wanted to post it here for others to look at. Lots of great stuff to see. Very, very rare versions of instruments. Museum quality. Again I apologize if this is outside the scope of TubeNet policies. I am not the person selling the instuments, just a great admirer of his collection and wanted to share the info.
