I haven't tried any of the video apps but I do use iProRecorder. It costs like 3 or 4 dollars and seems to work a lot better than the "voice memos" app.

By the way, that gig will be a great one. We are accompanying the organist of the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris. He simply kicks ***. And the rep we are playing is wonderful music.

I found out some years ago after watching some of my marching shows that I fill up my neck like a bullfrog when I play, that took sometime to adjust away from. Now I'm interested to hear from other people if they do something similar to your little project.

Interesting....I was at a concert Wed evening (my oboe teacher) and noticed that while he is playing, his neck also looks like bullfrog-like! While he is not playing, his neck looks "normal." I found that fascinating; I figured that it is 45 years of intense air pressure plus an open throat, that causes this bullfrog neck thing. I'm not sure it would be a good idea to "correct" this either...if it works for you.

WRONG!!! That is not a neck full of air or "open throat" - it is a lot of tense muscles caused by a LACK of air and causing a very closed throat. IT IS something that should be eliminated and the only way to do it is by breathing properly.
