Opening for Trombone

Foothills Brass is accepting applications for the position of trombone beginning September 2010. Foothills Brass, based in Calgary, Alberta, is entering it's 30th season as a full time ensemble, presenting as many as 150 events each year.

Upcoming tours include US west coast from California to Washington, central Canada and the southern US. Members share in the earnings of the ensemble, approximately $30,000 per annum, with a typical season running from mid-September through May.

Auditions will be held in Calgary by appointment, starting May 17. Applicants are requested to send a resume and, if possible, a recorded sample of their performance in support of their application.
