I played a school-owned PT-3 or PT-4 (can't remember) in college, and used a plain ol' Bach 18 on it with very good results. I was a broke broke college kid and it was what I had. Simplest solution is sometimes the best!

You might think about emailing Jeff Rideout at Custom Music. He's been around the horns and knows enough about them to find you something that might really help and can probably match your horn with a mouthpiece extremely well. (If you're wanting to go to the Perantucci line of mouthpieces, that is.)

If not, Dan Perantoni may be able to help to. Let him know your situation - he may have a useful idea or two.

Bloke had a good idea with the F tuba mouthpiece - I play a PT-72N on my F, great mouthpiece in my opinion!

Just a couple of ideas! Hope it helps!
