Are you a parent? New(?) use for practice mutes!

Post by ajh670 »

I was taking my 8-year old step daughter to swimming lessons at the Y the other day, and I happened to have my horn and practice mute in the truck. I usually take a magazine with me to the lessons, and I hated wasting time there when I could be doing something productive.* I took my horn in and practiced at poolside. Other than it being a little humid, it was pretty cool. So not only do I get to be a good dad and do something good for her, but I also get some bonus time on my euph as well.

*Don't think I'm evil... swimming lessons for her are productive and very important. I'm speaking simply of my time on the sidelines when personally, I accomplish nothing.
God Bless America. God Bless our troops.
