HI-
While browsing, I noticed JinBao/Alibaba finally has posted to their website the new 4 piston, 1 rotor CC tuba--the JBCB-450 model..FYI--UPDATE: I am told by a reliable source that this model horn has now gone into production and is no longer 'made by hand' and/or 'one of's'...

Does anybody know what the life expectancy is for one of these Tubas? I mean specifically if it is being played about 2 hours a day, everyday. How do they hold up?

I like my Schiller 5-rotor CC tuba. It's built like a tank and probably could hold up well for about three centuries of daily use.BRSousa wrote:Does anybody know what the life expectancy is for one of these Tubas?
