Let's give a huge shout-out to the Council of Nicea who dictated that Jesus was born during Festivus so as to get some of those pesky old pagans who celebrated Festivus to shift allegiances without shifting celebrations. Oh yeah, Corporate America would also like to thank the gents on that Council for the opportunity to glorify spending rather than praying. With all the studies done in tha last 100-150 years showing that Jesus was PROBABLY born @ Easter, it's amazing that those of you who embrace Christianity haven't jump-shifted to celebrated his birth, and rebirth, to that pastoral season. Happy Festivus to all!!!!!!!!

More likely late September/early October actually. Around the time the festivals commonly called Rosh Hoshana, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot occurred. John the Baptizer was the one born around Passover/Ishtar.
