Brian, you should also see "Standing in the Shadows of Motown", which is another documentary about the Funk Brothers. (And hey, my wife's uncle was the gaffer [the guy in charge of all of the lighting! ])

In Carol Kaye's online bio, she lists many of the people involved (Her list is a little greater than 12.) Even studio bass trombone legend George Roberts gets a mention.
