I am currently seeking a brass student to fill a band graduate assistantship here at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. Assistantship comes with an out-of-state waiver (if necessary) and a $6000 stipend. Duties would include assisting with the administration and instruction of "The Sound That Lights the South" Marching Band, the "Wolfgang" basketball pep band, and the Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band in the spring. Outside opportunities abound: great public school band programs are prevalent, and Carrollton is less than an hour from Atlanta. Cost of living is incredibly cheap. Please direct inquiries to me at:
