Warmest Euphonium ever!

Post by katietes »

Dear Tubenet,

I just wanted to share my latest project, an experiment to see what would happen if I covered my euphonium with a custom made sweater. Will it help keep the horn warm in between long rests in wind orchestra? Will it stop the bell from resonating properly? Here's a link to it, complete with detailed pictures....

I've also entered it into a contest (the prize is more yarn, yippee!), so if you feel inclined to do so, please vote from here: http://www.instructables.com/contest/bu ... &offset=18! I would really appreciate your help-- I'd love to place in this contest. They determine the winner half from user votes, and half from the judges' decisions. You do have to register with instructables to vote, but that's okay because there is so much more on there than just goofy knitting projects--- they've got awesome how-to's on every topic from outdoor survival to homemade tootsie rolls, mmm...

Sincerely,

Katie
