The current Jupiter 582 has stainless steel pistons. I believe they were nickel before they changed to stainless steel, but I'm not sure. Anyone knows?
And when did they change to stainless steel?

Are the nickel valves from Jupiter bad enough to avoid having one with nickel valves?pigman wrote:They changed to stainless about 6 years ago. the monel/ nickel material they were using was tarnishig ang causing the valves to stick
