A B&S-made Karl Ziess

Post by cjk »

Most Karl Ziess tubas one sees were made by Cerveny.

This one was not. It's quite obviously a B&S stencil, identical to those engraved "Meister Gerhard Schneider".

Yup, seen quite a few of them over the years. Welklang, Crow (professional), Gerhard Meinl, Tolstar, Sanders, Giardinelli, Meister Gerhard Schneider, no name at all. And Karl Ziess.
