check out the serial number first, older ones are rumored to have difficult intonation. i also find them physically awkard to play.

Scania, I do not remember and have only played new ones. They are very nice horns though I find the ergonomics and low F/E to be not to my liking. If you search here and old Tubenet you should get a rough idea. I think they had a higher number than one might expect.
Pray tell Dale, tell us all how wrong I am when several people (more on so on old Tubenet than on new, but still enough to take notice) have clearly stated such, especially when I very clearly indicated that I do not know for sure.
