Bravo--very fine playing. That is the first time I ever heard it with orchestral accompaniment, too. Very solid work!

VERY nice! Did you sync up the recording with the video? Or is the mic that good on the camcorder? Either way, well done!

Wait a minute! I believe I know what he did. He recorded Baadsvik playing this, instructed the conductor to follow the recording. He then pretended to play the solo himself. That is the reason the recording is as good as it is, and it explains the outstanding tuba performance. LOL :oops:

Very enjoyable! You did well by this great standard.

Was that a University orchestra accompanying you? They did a very good job behind you.

I, too, had never heard this done with orchestral accomp. I especially like the contrast it provides to the solo part.

texTuba - I have indeed synced my video with the recording from a different mic.
oedipoes - I am playing a PT15.
The Big Ben - It is Indiana University ad-hoc orchestra.
