This one may have been presented before, but I was given the link an hour ago and liked watching it. Duration is 30 minutes.

Musically I noted the West Point band and the Pershing’s Own band both playing marches with a lot of bugle calls. The French use it a lot in their bands having huge bugle sections. Looked like the West Point band also had dedicated bugle players, whereas i rather think the PO band had their trumpets & cornets playing the calls.

The Germans in their Zapfenstreich parades let their Bb trumpet players double on Eb cavalry trumpets. The British Light Infantry (now Riffles) used large sections of bugles manned by regular soldiers.

Bugles only have so many notes and thereby limit the chord diversity. Still the national styles of using bugle calls in marches are quite distinct.
