Scherzer F tuba at Baltimore Brass?

Post by bort »

Has anyone here tried the Scherzer F tuba at Baltimore Brass?

You can either post here or PM/email me separately.

Most curious about:
-- Physical size (bell, height, etc.)
-- Intonation
-- Playability/response
-- General impressions about good/bad

I think this has been there a few times, and has been around a while. I might have even tried it back when I lived in Baltimore. Anyone know more about it?

Thanks! :tuba:

Ah! For us tub(a)ists who use Reddit, I noticed this post a few weeks ago pertaining to the horn in question:

You could shoot him a PM through Reddit. It takes literally ten seconds to register with no strings attached and it's an interesting site besides.

Great, thanks for the info! Any more leads, keep it coming. I do realize I can and probably should just call Dave Fedderly, just looking for info here first so I don't waste his time.
