Didn't want to post in For Sale since I'm not buying yet. So...
Anybody know what would be the best fitting bag for this little horn? Also looking at flight cases.
If I gotta fly it, I'm either buying it a seat in a gig bag, or checking it in a flight case.
Any info and experience you have is appreciated?

I have a Cronkhite bag for mine, and it is perfect. Its a small and light tuba to begin with, and this bag keeps it in that same profile. Really awesome bag.

The tuba case page on the Horn Guys website has a lot more info: http://hornguys.com/tubacases.phpbobbob0100 wrote:how do you go about ordering one of those. The Cronkhite site isnt very... informative about that matter
Hope that helps!

Since they dont have the 653 on there, and the piggy is very close in Dimensions, should I just order that one?

I *think* it should fit in a YFB-621 case better than a piggy case, but they do have the sizing form: http://hornguys.com/Images/tubasizingform.jpgbobbob0100 wrote:Since they dont have the 653 on there, and the piggy is very close in Dimensions, should I just order that one?

I bought an Altieri bag and had my Unitec case designed to hold the gig bag and tuba.

Call or email Glenn Cronkhite directly. Tell him your tuba model, and he'll determine what to use. Even give him my name if you want, it was only a little over a year ago that I got mine for my 653
