Why is the main tuning slide at such an odd place in King sousaphones? I know the basic design of the 1250/2350 and the fiberglass equivalent haven't been changed for umpteen years, but you'd think that this might be the one thing that they could have changed. On my King sousie, the only real way to adjust the skinny main tuning slide is to grab the water key, and I always feel like it's apt to snap off. Anybody got a guess?
