I'm looking forward to trying out an Imperial and a Solo #2 on my JBL next week, as well as the C4LA rim.

The receivers on all 621s are the same of the ones I've stuck mouthpieces into.bloke wrote:Look up at the title of the thread, Wade:
No "YFB" up there.
Whether your tuba's receiver is the same as is used on the YBB and the YCB version is not something that I can ascertain. There was a YFB here a couple of weeks ago, but it has been sold.
My 621 (F) has a receiver just a bit smaller than the Holton, which is a bit large, with my Miraphone 186 in the middle. My B&S and the 621 are about the same.

I can confirm that a bass trombone shank will go in quite far, but does fit in the receiver of my YCB-621.
The shank seats and doesn't rattle. I tried it with a Conn Helleberg 5E, a Marcinkiewicz 106, and a Mirafone Jim Self BT.
