I know we don't "do that" around here... but I was wondering...
Some of the other music forums and drum corps forums have seperate "politics" areas. You have to be a member and have to be given permission by a moderator to be active in this "politics" board.
The board itself is unmoderated. Because the board can only be seen by those members given permission (and no "guests") it really doesn't effect the image of the board (since Tubenet is so prestigious and all). Because there is no moderation and the discussion is so wide open, there is generally a pretty even keeled nature to these threads and the topics don't ever really leave the "politics" section.
General thoughts? I like it, because we are such a diverse crowd I'd love to see the commentary.
(I intentionally posted this in "off topic", but know that it is your call to keep it here or move it to the other section, schleppy.)
I like political threads...
