Two Big Events in L.A.

Two things - worse first.
A rescue helicopter crashed in six feet of water ten miles South of here.
We planned to take our boats down there until the media said there Navy boats warning everyone away. Plenty of help.
The helicopter hit hard on the nose so it may be it was flying low or got no help from auto rotate by the prop. All four aboard lost. Three have been found so far.
Secondly, we just heard the news guy say our Gulf Coast area will receive,
7.8 BILLION ( with a B) dollars in a settlement with B.P. for the oil spill.
This is all local money. The feds suit is next.
I wonder what changes to our area will result from this.
My buddy got a guitar guy job at a fancy new bar next to our Orange Beach concert auditorium. His place will pack out after concerts.
Gulf coast beaches had the biggest year last year ever in it's history. Tourists stayed in the U.S. and enjoyed a local vacations.They are looking to pulverize last years record this year.
