Previn Concerto for Tpt, Horn, & Tuba

Post by Art Hovey »

Craig Knox is principal tuba with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Somebody forwarded this message from his mother:
From: Jane Knox
Subject: concerto broadcast

Just wanted to let you know that the PSO world premier of the Previn Concerto for Trumpet, Horn, and Tuba (Previn conducting) will be streaming live on Friday night. The concert starts at 8 pm and the concerto ends the first half following the Haydn Symphony 102.

If you're interest in listening to it, Craig has put the URL on his website: http://www.craigknoxtuba.com/

1. On the title page of Craig's website, click where it says information HERE under "New and Noteworthy".
2. That brings you to "NEWS- CALENDAR- EVENTS". Go down the page to UPCOMING EVENTS. In the second paragraph, you can click on "live web stream".

Please let any brass players who you think might be interested know.

For those who were not able to listen to the live stream, is the video archived on YouTube or elsewhere?
