Giddings & Webster: New vs. Old

Post by Tubaryan12 »

Question for those who have played both the heavyweight and lightweight models of their mouthpiece: Are the rims any rounder on the new vs old? The new pics seem to appear that they are, but it could just be an optical illusion. I have an email into the good folks at G&W and figured I'd ask here as well. TNFJ, what say ye?

I own both bayamos and i have noticed a couple of things, the rim is more round on the new one and also i noticed the throat bore is bigger on the new one than the old one, i have seen this on several of them so i know it wasnt just mine, hope that helps
