Tuba and case are both in very good condition. Current new price for the case alone is $550 (will not be sold separately from tuba).
Of the St. Pete tubas I have played, this one has the lightest and fastest valve action.....very similar to a Miraphone 191 I owned. Valves are aligned and have new bumpers. Intonation is excellent at A=440. Nickel-plated finish (silver color).
Tuba has some minor cosmetic imperfections but no significant dents. Case has steel handles, recessed rubber wheels, and steel reinforced corners. No mouthpiece included.
Bell rim has custom-fitted hard plastic protection strip (easily removable).
