"Old Rocking Chair" is a fine old pop tune from the 1930's by Hoagy Carmichael. You'll find its lead sheet in most traditional jazz fakebooks, and I am sure there must be at least one Hoagy C. collection available in sheet music stores. Louis Armstrong did some wonderful recordings of the song with Jack Teagarden, and I think with Bing Crosby too. Dave Gannett's version is his own interpretation, and I doubt if it was ever written down.
