Hey folks,
Just wondering if anyone has bought music from this distributor http://www.alle-noten.de///search.php?a ... ton+galopp? If so, how was your experience? How would I know if this is thee bariton galopp I am looking for? If this is not THEE Bariton-Galopp by Grazer Spatzen I am looking for, does this distributor allow returns? You guessed it.... I dont speak German.
In general, what has been experiences buying music from international sources? I have purchased tracht (Bundhosen, Braces, from The Bavarian-Superstore.de in the past and the first experience was fantastic. The second experience not so much.
Thanks for any and all input...

Re: buying music from a foreign music distributor
I have bought music from foreign web stores several times, and have generally not any problems. (Just keep in mind that shipping and customs will add to the cost. I don't know how that works in other countries, but customs can get quite expensive in Sweden - not because of the actual customs, but because the Swedish post adds an insane fee just to collect that money.)la_dee_da wrote:In general, what has been experiences buying music from international sources?
Much of it has been from a double reed specialist in the USA (yes, that's foreign to me - welcome to the international internet!) so recommending that here isn't of much use (but there is nothing like TrevCo if you're looking for double reed music).
I've also ordered from Sheet Music Plus, due to their big catalogue, but that size is an illusion. I only got maybe half of the music. The rest turned out to be permanently out of stock. And Amazon, but I imagine that's familiar to everyone.
Edit: Oh, and there are some sample pages of the Galopp you asked about here.

Try sending them an email. Most Germans that I have met here speak English very well. More than likely they will be able to understand you and respond to you in English. You never know unless you ask.la_dee_da wrote:Hey folks,
