Kurt Knoth F tuba and Kaiserbariton (hornporn)

Post by TheBerlinerTuba »

hallo Tubenet
I saw both of these horns this past week and thought Tubenet might find them interesting.
They were both made in the 1950s by Kurt Knoth of Markneukirchen.
For their time, they were some of the best instruments available, and even today they compare favorably to more modern designs.
cheers

The "Unknown rotary F" for sale on Horn Guys looks EXACTLY like the Knoth F.

I have been hoping The Horn Guys would post picture of that. If they did, I can't find it. Did you see it in person, or am I just inept with the website?
