The largest Gothic Cathedral in the world will ring with the sound of the
Metropolitan Opera Brass once again as they revisit their recently-recorded CD
Sacrae Symphoniae live at St. John. The program includes transcriptions from
Der Rosenkavalier, Cosi fan Tutte, The Merry Widow, L’Orpheo and Cavalleria Rusticana
plus Thomas Talis’ monumental 40-voice motet Spem In Alium.
Tickets are $25 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors.
Proceeds benefit St. John’s music program.
